Final year student at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee with Majors in Electrical Engineering and Minors in Computer Science and Engineering. With some tremendous contributions in field of Software Development, Data Science and Electrical Engineering alongwith CGPA of 9.427, I am a highly motivated folk. Working on convergence using Reduced RTL. My work involves creating a scalable GUI which categorizes macros, is easily configurable and error free. Also working on scheduled updation of Confluence pages which lists changes in macros over time and values of macros that can be taken up for build thereby saving a lot of time dealing with build errors.

Worked on factor construction on an alternative data chosen from nearly 130 datasets listed on Eagle Alpha. Tested the signal using alphalens and backtested a Q5-Q1 long short cross-sectional portfolio using pyfolio.

Artificial Intelligence and Electronics Society, IIT Roorkee

ArIES is a cluster of tech enthusiasts who experiment with Artificial Intelligence and Electronics. Our team has successfully represented the institute at various national and international competitions related to our field. My responsibilities in the group includes organizing lectures and workshops related to Electronics and Data Science. My responsibilities also include mentoring projects undertaken by students for the Annual Technical Exhibition of IIT Roorkee. I have successfully mentored seven projects till date:

  • Online Class Note Maker: An application to summarize presentations and images.
  • Hand Cricket: A real time hand cricket game against computer built using mediapipe.
  • Waste Detection Bin: A simulation of bin to detect and filter waste.
  • Logo Detection and Analysis : An analysis on logos placement and company’s investment in a cricket match feed.
  • Voice Controlled Chess : A voice controlled version of the standard single player chess game.
  • Temple Run VR : A Virtual Reality version of the famous mobile game, Temple Run.
  • KK2 Drone : A quadcopter based on the KK2 flight controller.

Cognizance

Cognizance is the annual technical festival of IIT Roorkee, with participation from college students across India. Volunteered in successfully concluding Departmental Cognizance 2019.

Projects

BSE Serverless Predictor - A serverless model run periodically using AWS and integrated with Slack to predict market for next business day. A set of volatile stocks are selected and run through a neural network to make daily predictions for stock price.
Feedback Prediction System - An application that takes vocal feedback from visitors in an exhibition and scores the exhibit based on feedback. Worked on speech to text conversion using Text to Speech API, get feedback scores and update them on a webpage.
Eye Controlled Wheelchair - Made a prototype of a wheelchair controlled by the motion of pupil, for people suffering from quadriplegia. The motion is tracked periodically and data sent wirelessly to NodeMCU to power the wheels.
Automated Drone - Quadcopter which follows a predetermined path with the help of external GPS without using manual controller. QGroundControl sets the course of flight and communicates with the quadcopter using telemetries.
Cleaning Bot - A smart bot controlled using Arduino Mega with mops and vacuum cleaner that can clean any size spaces. Arduino takes readings from three ultrasonic sensors attached to bot to power motor drivers suitably.
